Our new trampoline

The boys new trampoline arrived this week. We have been looking at them for a while now and decided the best one to buy would be the one with the safety net around it. Cody and Ollie helped Grant to put it up during the week - it was dark by the time it was finished. Cody accidently hit Ollie with one of the springs and cut his eyelid, so now Ollie has been saying that "Cody smashed me".
The kids just love the tramp, they are on and off it all day.

July School holidays

Well we are into the second week of the school holidays, Cody has been to see the Cars movie, which he loved, so he now has a car called Romone, and Ollie has Flo, which of course they have to take to bed with them every night. We took Cody and Ollie to see Over the Hedge last weekend - this was Ollie's first movie - don't think we will be taking him back in a hurry, he cannot sit still for 10 minutes let alone half an hour. Though a month later he is still talking about how he went to the movies - he just loved it. We caught the bus to Hornby a couple of times, the kids thought that was pretty cool, so I think that will have to be a regular school holiday thing to do.

Winter Snow

Well snow was here in June . . . early this year. Cody and Ollie were very excited to get out and play in it. Grant came home after only being at work for a couple of hours and helped the boys build a snowman and took them for a ride in the kayak. Patch loved running around in the snow, but the snow stuck to his fur in big balls and we had to shower him to melt it off. With no rain the snow hung around for a few days. The boys will be hoping that we get some more soon, so dad can come home and play.
